Overview

Vardhman Special Steels Limited is a part of the prestigious Vardhman Group, hailed as a giant in the textile industry with a turnover exceeding $1.4 billion. Its steel business is renowned as a Vardhman Special Steels Limited (VSSL) which is lead by Vice Chairman & Managing Director Mr. Sachit Jain, An IITian with an MBA from IIMA. 

VSSL is a prominent player in the special steel industry in India manufacturing high quality special and alloy steel for critical end-use applications in the automotive segment. Its end product supply condition is hot rolled bars and bright bars. VSSL produces steel by using recycled scrap through electric arc furnace route. It has a melting capacity of 250,000 MTPA as well as has an integrated rolling mill of 200,000 MTPA capacity.

VSSL emphasis on its five pillars which is Safety, Quality, Productivity, Cost & Customer Satisfaction. At VSSL, all operations are performed in a safe working environment with state-of-the-art manufacturing and testing facilities. With five decades of expertise in special steel making, VSSL supplies its end product to many major automobile manufacturers in the world such as Toyoto, Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Ford etc. It is an outcome of continuous improvement in operational processes while attaining stringent quality levels through innovative solutions and standardized work practices. VSSL is dedicated to delivering high-quality products to its customers on time for customer satisfaction and delight. VSSL strives for promoting sustainable growth by fostering long-lasting relationships based on trust with its stakeholders,  valuing its people as the driving force of success, and contributing to society and the environment.
