We have a 33 metric tonnes per hour capacity walking hearth type re-heating furnace to provide uniform heating of billets up to 1220 degree celcius. This furnace was designed by Seco Warwick Allied. It is equipped with online temperature monitoring system and gas monitoring system. It is a natural gas fired furnace instead of furnace oil which generates less carbon emissions and less scale.
HIGH PRESSURE DESCALER
We have 04 No’s of pump which is supplied by UT pump for Hydraulic descaling system.It is very efficient for the removal of outer oxide layer of red hot billet by using high pressure water jet on the billet surface with the help of the specific nozzle at 300 bar working pressure. This descaling system improves quality of rolled product by preventing fusion of oxidized scale into base material.
We have state of the art roughing mill which was designed by Danielli Morghardshammar (Italy) which works on principle of fixed pass line by sliding the stand grooves after each pass.The roughing mill is fully automated mill having max roll dia 650mm.
CONTINUOUS ROLLING MILL
We have 10 stand continuous rolling mill with horizontal vertical series combination which was designed by Danielli Morghardshammar (Italy) . This continuous mill is equipped with 03 No’s flying shears such as 02 No’s crop end shears and third one is dividing shear. This mill allows us to achieve stricter dimensional tolerances and improved surface finish quality.
We have 48 metre long and 7 metre wide cooling bed which is based on walking rake type mechanism. This mechanism helps to rotate bars at 360 degree for uniform cooling on overall bar circumference. This cooling bed transports the bars in a phased manner from the entry of the cooling bed to discharge side.
ABRASIVE CUTTING MACHINE
We have warm layer abrasive cutting machine which was designed by Vascas (Italy). It has 1000mm dia cutting wheel size with feed rate of 28mm/s. This machine helps us to give chip free finish material as well as precise cutting of length as per customer’s requirement.
